Here are the first pieces of TITYARAVY tableware in collaboration with the Georges earthenware factory.
Entirely hand-decorated, it took over 3.5 hours to paint. Hand-painting on biscuit, before glazing, requires great dexterity: the gesture must be clean and precise, because it is impossible to erase the decoration and start again on the biscuit. It is immediately "fixed" in the material.
The shades of color are obtained by measuring the quantity of oxide powder deposited on the part.
Even with great mastery of thicknesses, the result is necessarily random, the intensity of the colors varies from one piece to another. This is also what makes each piece unique.

Like her jewelry, handmade in her Parisian workshop, Titya Tin aims to share her emotions linked to the magic of craftsmanship. Through a selection of everyday objects, she shares her vision of a beautifully set table, starting with a large plate, an ashtray, a caviar box, and a candle holder.

The time taken to create the decor:
It takes 3.5 hours of hand painting to make the XL dish and 1.5 hours for the M plate.

The number of cookings?
There is a firing for the biscuit (the clay piece), then another firing to fire the enamel and the decoration at the same time and often a 3rd firing is necessary to perfect the enamel and make it as regular and smooth as possible.

Risks and/or difficulties

The enameling stage is also crucial, because it is necessary to cover the already decorated piece with a sufficient quantity of enamel (to cover it well), but without damaging the decoration or making it run.
Finally, the slightest cooking accident (cracked enamel, overcooking, etc.) requires starting all over again...

It is best to avoid wearing your jewelry in the following situations:
— When washing your hands, to prevent soap deposits from getting into the cracks and tarnishing your jewelry.

For all silver jewelry

Silver jewelry naturally oxidizes with air and humidity.

Occasional cleaning with a special cloth helps keep the silver shiny and remove oxidation.

To avoid oxidation as much as possible, store your silver jewelry in a closed bag away from air.

For all gold or silver plated jewelry

It is not recommended to wear jewelry while sleeping, swimming, or exercising. Also, avoid contact with perfumes and cosmetics.

Patina tends to fade over time. How quickly it disappears depends on how the jewelry is cared for. Fading patina is the result of perfectly normal natural wear and tear.

For all jewelry

Store your jewelry individually.

For jewelry with stones

Make sure to protect your stones from bumps and scratches.
