After launching her eponymous brand of high-end costume jewelry in 2017, Tityaravy, designer Titya Tin has opened her first boutique just steps from the Jardin du Palais Royal, at 4 rue Chabanais in Paris's 2nd arrondissement. A symbol of the fusion of her multiple cultures, the space draws inspiration from Titya Tin's subtly vintage and colorful universe to enhance her uniqueness.
Conceived as a "contemporary palace" by multidisciplinary designer Benjamin Guedj, the interior reveals its organic forms crafted from mineral materials. They recall the infinite world of precious stones while echoing the poetry of Tityaravy's refined creations. The first Tityaravy boutique is an invitation to travel, through the designer's multiculturalism.

A contemporary palace
On the ceiling, large skylights underscore the celestial and spiritual spirit of the space, like a nod to the history of the house and its divine aspirations. Two majestic arches sequence the space while the whitewashed walls are adorned with a thousand and one shades of pink.
The furniture - deliberately minimalist, opts for walnut wood - this precious wood which symbolizes the tree of life, another concept dear to Tityaravy.
An architectural marble cube with "cappuccino" accents then takes its place in the center of the space, like a work in its own right that gives the impression of having been there forever.
It also sounds like an allusion to the extraordinary richness of the palaces of Rajasthan or the temples of Angkor, which house marvels of sophistication, and whose stylistic details enriched Titya's aesthetics and creativity.
Nestled against the wall, two large benches are illuminated by woven multicolored lines, inviting you to relax. The floor, left raw and marked by time, contrasts with subtly copper-toned finishes to complete the warm atmosphere. The collection's various lines are then able to express themselves, delicately placed on velvet busts and trays. All of the brand's iconic pieces are featured.
An address
of choice
Attached to the Saint-Anne district where she has lived for many years, designer Titya Tin chose a location in the heart of "her" Paris to open her first boutique. A living space just a stone's throw from Rue de Richelieu where she lives and Rue Feydeau, where she imagines, creates, and assembles her jewelry.
But it's also a place with a rich history. For many years, Rue Chabanais housed the suppliers of Place Vendôme, with its multitude of jewelry workshops. It was also a mecca for paid pleasures in the 19th and 20th centuries, including a famous brothel that attracted a luxurious international clientele including kings, artists, and writers.
In the 1960s and 1970s, the shop became the César, whose engraving is still present on the facade at 4 rue Chabanais. It housed one of the very first LGBT bars in the capital because before becoming the "Japonais" district, the street and its surroundings were the gay center of Paris before it moved to the Marais.
In the 80s and 90s, the address became a “Topless” bar.
Titya is happy to give it a new lease of life to make it, once again in 2022, a place to enjoy yourself.
